Rozendijk has recently (2024) become partly one-way. To drive to your holiday home in one go, turn left at the first traffic light at the boat, follow the road to Den Hoorn and drive through the pretty village where you will find a supermarket.
Drive straight ahead on the Westerweg, passing Den Hoorn's famous little church on your left, and turn left at the third side road on your left (near the Torenhuus) into the Fonteinsweg. Follow the road all the way to the end and meander into the Dennenbossen and you'll end up on Rozendijk. After about 500 metres you will find Bungalowverhuur Aldubo on your right. All our houses are nicely situated next to each other. First the Landhuis, you can park on the grassy cobbles in front of the house, then the Wollewei, ‘t Wambas and the Turel, you can park on the parking strip in front of the Aldubo billboard. If you drive electric or hybrid you can charge your car here free of charge.
And for the Robin and the Medlar, drive into the driveway about 150 metres after the parking area, drive down and you can park there.
If you are coming from Pontweg and have not turned off to Den Hoorn, at the second roundabout at side road 10, turn onto Akenbuurt and drive all the way to the end. Turn right at the end of the road. Take the fourth road on the right and you will arrive at your holiday home on the Fonteinsweg.
From Den Helder NS railway station, a bus runs 11 minutes past the hour to the ferry port. This gives you a direct connection to the ferry to Texel. Upon your arrival on the island, the bus will be waiting for you. Plan your trip
Boat
The ferry takes you to Texel within half an hour. In Den Helder, you can buy a ticket for the crossing with your car or as a pedestrian at the TESO ticket offices. There is no need to make reservations for the crossing. For more information and departure times go to Teso timetable
