Aldubo is located on the edge of Texel Dunes National Park. This makes your bungalow the ideal starting point for a walking or cycling tour in the area. Your hostess will be happy to tell you more about it. Bird-watchers will also enjoy this real bird island.

Of course, you can bring your own bike to Texel, but we are also happy to arrange a rental bike for you. From the Rozendijk, you can follow a route along one of the beautiful cycle paths. Did you know that Texel has more than 135 km of cycle paths? Walkers are also in the right place here. From your bungalow, you can follow various marked walking routes. Through the adjacent woodland, it is only a short walk to the beach.

Aldubo is located 3 km from the characteristic village of Den Hoorn with its theatre, art galleries and restaurant. Did you know that Texel even has a Michelin-starred restaurant? The bungalows are only 6 km from the bustling seaside resort and entertainment centre De Koog and only and 4 km from island centre Den Burg. Look for the various activities and restaurants for young and old in the Texel diary.

Just a few steps away you will find the great restaurant Bosq for a delicious dinner and sometimes lunch. You can also order breakfast here and take it with you to your Aldubo holiday home.

Fancy a nice cup of coffee, a snack or an ice cream in the middle of the Bos? Right behind the first Dune you will find Turfveld Texel.

If you go to De Koog, you can enjoy the Texel family restaurant Vogelhuis Texel.

Aldubo is only 2 car kilometres from a beautiful child-friendly beach. Through the dunes, it is a nice walk or just a short bike ride away. The beach offers opportunities for catamaran sailing, kite- and windsurfing. But you can also enjoy a drink in one of the many beach pavilions, such as at Paal 9.

From the Paal 9 site, you can also watch the live webcam to the North Sea and get your piece of the Texel feeling.

Other beach beaches in the immediate vicinity of Aldubo are: Paal 12 and Paal 15. Each stroke has its own identity and we know one thing for sure: there is bound to be one that suits your needs.

The TESO (Texel's Own Steamship Company) operates the ferry service between Den Helder and Texel. This ferry service is the lifeline of the Wadden Island and transports thousands of travelers, vehicles, and goods daily. The crossing takes approximately 20 minutes and offers a beautiful view over the Wadden Sea. With modern vessels like the 'Texelstroom', TESO provides a comfortable and efficient connection to the largest Dutch Wadden Island.
